IP Sniffer is a freeware program developed and released by Erwan’s Lab. Generally it will work on any version of Windows higher than Windows 2000 and is a great way to monitor bandwidth usage. As IP Sniffer keeps an eye on your network and flags up any issues that may be causing connectivity problems. It is also a good way to troubleshoot and fix any problems that you may have to allow for a much smoother running of your network.
Other features that IP Sniffer has include managing ARP entries, controlling whether your router works as a host and managing the open ports on your computer. It also has a number of security functions including the facility to shutdown Windows machines and revealing asterisk passwords.
